1978 Topps #20 Pete Rose Autographed Baseball Card PSA Certified Authentic Auto

The 1978 Topps #20 Pete Rose is one of the most recognizable cards in the entire vintage baseball hobby — and adding a PSA-certified authentic hand-signed autograph from Charlie Hustle himself transforms it into a true once-in-a-collection piece.

This is a single, vintage card offering: the 1978 Topps base set card #20, hand-signed by Pete Rose and submitted to PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), which has examined the signature and encapsulated it in a tamper-proof PSA holder bearing its Authentic designation. PSA is the hobby's gold standard for authentication, and that slab is your ironclad guarantee.

The card itself captures Rose at the height of the Big Red Machine era — a fitting snapshot for a player who owns the all-time MLB records for hits (4,256), games played (3,562), at-bats (14,053), and singles (3,215). The 1978 set is also notable for carrying a companion Record Breaker card (#5) commemorating Rose's record for the most career hits by a switch-hitter. Owning the hand-signed #20 connects directly to that chapter of history.

Raw 1978 Topps Pete Rose #20s in PSA 9 trade in the $70–$90 range, with PSA 10 examples regularly clearing $1,000–$1,500. A PSA-authenticated signed example brings the added scarcity of a genuine Rose signature — a player whose Card Ladder index surged nearly 25% following his passing in 2024, reflecting sustained and growing collector demand.

• PSA Authentic autograph — encapsulated and certified by the hobby's most trusted grader
• 1978 Topps #20 — the iconic base card from one of vintage baseball's most collected sets
• Hand-signed by Pete Rose, MLB's all-time Hit King with 4,256 career hits
• Post-passing market momentum — Rose autos and vintage cards have seen consistent, documented price appreciation
• Finite supply — no new Rose autographs will ever enter the market

With Pete Rose's eligibility for the Hall of Fame now an active conversation and his signature supply permanently closed, this PSA-certified 1978 Topps #20 auto represents exactly the kind of vintage signed piece serious collectors are racing to lock down before the market prices them out.
