Ken Griffey Jr. is the crown jewel of the 1990 Topps Toys "R" Us Rookies set — and card #13 is exactly why collectors keep chasing it. Between 1987 and 1991, Topps partnered exclusively with Toys "R" Us for annual 33-card mini sets spotlighting the game's rising stars, and the 1990 edition landed squarely in Junior's sophomore breakout season with the Seattle Mariners. It's a retail-exclusive Collectors Edition issue that never made it into hobby boxes — a true oddball with a legitimate backstory.

This is a raw, ungraded copy of the Griffey #13 — perfect for the PC builder who wants The Kid on cardboard without paying PSA slab premiums. For reference, PSA 10 Gem Mint copies of this exact card have sold in the $192–$285 range across recent transactions, which tells you raw copies in solid shape represent real, accessible value on one of baseball's most collected names.

  • Set: 1990 Topps Toys "R" Us Rookies — a 33-card retail-exclusive Collectors Edition issued annually alongside the main Topps flagship release
  • Card #13 — Ken Griffey Jr., Seattle Mariners
  • Hall of Fame inductee (Class of 2016, first-ballot, 99.3% of the vote)
  • Exclusive Toys "R" Us distribution — never sold in traditional hobby or retail packs

Griffey's hobby relevance never fades. Raw copies of this card move consistently across every major marketplace. Grab this piece of early-'90s nostalgia from one of the most beloved players in baseball history — before the next Griffey wave prices you out.
