The 1996-97 Skybox Z-Force #11 Michael Jordan is a pure product of the Bulls dynasty era — a card born the same season Jordan was flying toward his fifth NBA championship with Chicago. Loud and colorful with a wild background design, the debut of 1996-97 Skybox Z-Force Basketball was anything but subtle. Card fronts deliver an action shot of the player against an explosive-type background, with Jordan's name in block letters at the top and the SkyBox Z-Force logo outlined in gold foil along the bottom right. It's one of the most visually distinctive Jordan cards of the decade.

This card is one of 12 Michael Jordan variations tracked in the 1996 Skybox Z-Force set — including the coveted Z-Cling parallel, which shares the same card number. The Z-Clings are only found in Series 1 and are identical to the base cards, but the backs are blank except for the player's name and the card number — a clean, distinctive look that separates them from the standard issue.
