Michael Jordan's legacy doesn't need an introduction — but this card earns its place in any serious collection on its own terms. The 2008-09 Upper Deck MVP MVP Legends Michael Jordan #245 slots into the dedicated Legends subset of the MVP release, a 20-card insert block (#241–260) that Upper Deck reserved exclusively for all-time greats and Hall of Famers. Jordan shares that tier with Bill Russell and a handful of other certified immortals, making this a purposefully curated piece rather than a filler base card.

The design puts Jordan in his iconic red Chicago Bulls uniform against a bold green and orange bordered frame — one of the sharper-looking MVP layouts Upper Deck produced in that era. For collectors who want to chase deeper, this card carries a full parallel ladder: Silver Script, a Gold Script (/100), and the holy grail Super Script numbered to just 1 — a true one-of-one.

  • Set: 2008-09 Upper Deck MVP — MVP Legends insert subset, card #245
  • Team: Chicago Bulls
  • Parallels available: Silver Script · Gold Script /100 · Super Script /1
  • PSA population (base): 32 graded PSA 10, 80 graded PSA 9
  • Market comps (base ungraded): recent sales ranging $6–$15 raw; PSA 9s averaging ~$22; PSA 10s fetching $180+

Raw copies represent one of the most accessible entry points into Jordan's deep cardography — a legitimate HOF Chicago Bulls card from a respected Upper Deck product at an approachable price. Grade it, PC it, or flip it into the parallel hunt. Either way, #23 in Bulls red never goes out of style.
