The 2007-08 Topps Letterman NBA Basketball Patches Autographs – Dominique Wilkins #11/15 is one of the most compelling low-pop patch-auto cards to surface from the Topps Letterman release. The set released in 2008 , and cards 1–50 feature veterans, all serially numbered to 599 — but the Patches Autographs insert takes that exclusivity to an entirely different level. Each pack was designed to yield either an autograph numbered to 75 or less, or a patch numbered to 19 or less , making a hand-numbered patch-auto combination at just /15 one of the rarest pulls in the entire product.

The subject of this card needs no introduction. Dominique Wilkins is a nine-time NBA All-Star, a seven-time All-NBA Team member, and is widely viewed as one of the most acrobatic slam dunkers in NBA history, earning the nickname "the Human Highlight Film." In October 2021, he was honored as one of the league's greatest players of all time by being named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. On September 8, 2006, Wilkins was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
