Card #101 is the first number in the Rookie Authentics Autograph Patch subset, placing Spiller at the very top of a checklist that includes Sam Bradford, Dez Bryant, Tim Tebow, Ndamukong Suh, and Rob Gronkowski. This is the on-card auto and patch version, serial numbered to just /299 — the tightest print run tier available for this subset in the base configuration.

The 2010 SP Authentic release carries a unique distinction: it was the first SP Authentic football set to operate under an NCAA license, featuring rookies in their college uniforms rather than NFL gear. Spiller is shown here as a Clemson Tiger — fitting, given that Clemson retired his No. 28 jersey and he's a College Football Hall of Famer.
