Shohei Ohtani became only the third player in MLB history to win three American League MVP awards, and Topps marked the moment with one of the year's most striking tribute releases — 2025 Topps Welcome to the Club: 3X MVP. This slab holds card #D8, the 3x MVP Dual Subject insert pairing Ohtani with Brooklyn Dodgers legend Roy Campanella — two men who share the same exclusive club and, no coincidence, the same Dodger blue bloodline.

  • Gold Foil Parallel, serial-numbered /50 — among the sharpest-looking and hardest-to-pull parallels in the set, with only 50 copies in existence across the entire print run
  • CGC Gem Mint 10 — the top grade, encapsulating a flawless copy of an already scarce card
  • 3x MVP Dual Subject insert, one per box, pairing Ohtani against each of the game's 11 other three-time MVPs — the Campanella pairing is one of the most historically resonant in the 11-card insert checklist
  • Part of a 36-card set built entirely around baseball's most exclusive MVP fraternity, released January 2025 to celebrate Ohtani's 2024 NL MVP with the Dodgers

Raw copies of the base D8 Ohtani/Campanella dual are already trading around $1,000 ungraded. Comparable Gold Foil /50 Dual Subject slabs from this same set in CGC 10 are trading in the $400–$500+ range, with the Ohtani/Campanella pairing carrying a Dodger-lineage premium that pushes demand further. A gem-graded copy of the rarest standard numbered parallel — locked in a CGC 10 slab — is the version a serious Ohtani or vintage Dodgers collector actually wants to hold long-term.
