The 2026 Donruss Football Elite Deck #24 Trae Taylor is one of the most compelling prospect cards in this release — a hobby-exclusive insert spotlighting the nation's #1-ranked quarterback in the class of 2027 before he ever takes a college snap.

  • Who he is: Trae Taylor is a 6'3" dual-threat signal-caller committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He threw for 3,571 yards and 38 touchdowns in his junior season alone, and in the summer of 2026 he was named MVP of the Elite 11 Finals — the most prestigious quarterback showcase in the country — after outlasting 19 competitors.
  • Five-star pedigree: Ranked the #1 quarterback nationally by 247Sports and drawing CJ Stroud comparisons from evaluators, Taylor is already one of the most-watched names in football recruiting.
  • The insert: The Elite Deck is a 24-card hobby-exclusive set within 2026 Panini Donruss Football (released October 28, 2026). Parallels include Red /99, Blue /49, Black /25, Gold /10, and the ultra-rare Elite 1/1 — giving collectors multiple tiers to chase.
  • The set context: With Panini no longer holding NFL rights, 2026 Donruss Football leans deep into college prospects and NIL signings — making Taylor's Elite Deck card a primary draw for collectors building early-entry positions on tomorrow's franchise quarterbacks.

This is the card to own before Trae Taylor's Nebraska debut turns the hobby's attention his way. Grab the base, then hunt the numbered parallels — the Blue /49 and Black /25 are the sweet spots in the Donruss Elite Deck parallel rainbow.
