The Mega Sharpedo ex — 127/094 Special Illustration Rare from Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution — Phantasmal Flames (ME02) is one of the sharpest pulls the Mega Evolution era has produced. Numbered beyond the 94-card base set, this is a Secret Rare — specifically a Special Illustration Rare (SIR) — with full-art holo treatment illustrated by nagimiso, one of the TCG's most recognizable artists working today.

Phantasmal Flames dropped worldwide on November 14, 2025 as the second expansion of the Mega Evolution series, built around a "Shadow and Flame" theme that makes Mega Sharpedo's Darkness typing a perfect fit for the set's aesthetic. The set spans 130 total cards with six Mega Evolution Pokémon ex — Mega Charizard X, Mega Gengar, Mega Lopunny, Mega Heracross, Mega Diancie, and Mega Sharpedo — making this SIR one of only six Mega-featured secret rares in the release.
