Pre Vizsla — Strong-Willed Ruler is one of the standout Legendary units from Ashes of the Empire (ASH), Star Wars: Unlimited's eighth set, released July 17, 2026. Anchored in the Mandalorian faction and carrying dual Vigilance/Villainy aspects, this card slots directly into the set's central power theme: the chaotic scramble for dominance after the Empire's fall.

  • Legendary rarity, card #53/264, Ground arena Unit with 6 Power / 6 HP at a cost of 8
  • When Played ability: defeat any number of non-leader units with a combined 6 or less remaining HP — then create a Mandalorian token for each unit defeated, turning removal into board presence instantly
  • Mandalorian tokens are one of ASH's headline new mechanics, arriving in play Shielded, making Pre Vizsla's trigger an immediate two-for-one threat
  • Standard non-foil copies are trading around $32 on the secondary market; Hyperspace Foil (#555) versions are tracking near $45 and trending upward
  • Set remains Premier-legal through March 2028 — plenty of competitive runway left

Pre Vizsla is the kind of Legendary that earns its spot in both competitive decks and display binders. Ashes of the Empire centers the Mandalorian faction more than any previous Star Wars: Unlimited release, and this card's synergy with Mandalorian token generation makes it a core piece of that engine. Whether you're sleeving it up for a Premier event or chasing the full ASH Legendary set, Strong-Willed Ruler is a card that holds real weight in the current meta.
