The Portgas D. Ace Secret Rare is the most emotional, most anticipated pull in the One Piece Card Game's 2026 lineup — and it lives right here in The Time of Battle (OP-16).

The Time of Battle is the 16th main booster set for the One Piece Card Game, dropping players and collectors straight into the heart of the Paramount War — the scorched-earth clash at Marineford that the game has not built an entire set around since all the way back at OP-02. Each booster pack contains 12 cards, with 24 packs per box.

The full rarity breakdown spans Leaders (×6), Commons (×45), Uncommons (×30), Rares (×26), Super Rares (×10), Secret Rares (×2), Special Cards (×6), and a Treasure Rare (×1) — giving every pack genuine upside regardless of where you crack it.

Both Portgas D. Ace (OP16-118) and Marshall D. Teach (OP16-119) debut as Secret Rares, two prestige pieces tied directly to the most emotional beats of the arc. The undisputed headliners, though, are the three Marine Admirals. Kuzan (OP16-063), Sakazuki (OP16-065), and Borsalino (OP16-073) each receive a premium manga-style alternate-art treatment — the cards the community calls Manga Rares — and laid side by side they reassemble one unbroken, iconic image of the Admirals from the war. That collect-the-trio design makes all three more desirable together than any one would be on its own.

Fan favorites get the spotlight here too — Boa Hancock (OP16-032), a Super Rare who fought to protect Luffy in the thick of Marineford, is exactly the kind of marquee character card collectors quietly set aside. Six new Leader cards anchor the set: Red Portgas D. Ace, Blue-Green Monkey D. Luffy, Blue Buggy, Purple Sengoku, Black Yamato, and Black-Yellow Marshall D. Teach.

What you're hunting:

  • Portgas D. Ace Secret Rare (OP16-118)the emotional centerpiece of the set and the headline chase for collectors
  • Marshall D. Teach Secret Rare (OP16-119) — the Secret Rares for Ace and Blackbeard are the headline chase cards for collectors in this set
  • Manga Rare Admiral Trio — three Manga Rare cards, a groundbreaking feature that significantly elevates the set's value and rarity structure ; until now, most sets included only one Manga Rare — the jump to three in a single set marks a major evolution in Bandai's rarity structure
  • Boa Hancock Super Rare (OP16-032) — marquee pull for Marineford fans and completionists alike
  • Treasure Rare — the set's single scarcest numbered pull
  • Leader Parallels — Leader parallels are the most liquid cards because they appeal to both players and collectors; Ace, Luffy, Blackbeard, and Yamato are the first four to monitor

Previous Manga Rare cards — especially from OP-05 and OP-09 — have seen explosive price increases, reinforcing their importance in the collector market; with three Manga Rares in one set, OP-16 could redefine pull expectations and long-term value. The window to grab sealed packs at launch price is short — collectors who know their history on Manga Rares are moving now.
