This is Bob Griese's final Topps base card — #482 from the iconic 1981 Topps Football set, graded PSA 9 (Mint). A shoulder injury ended Griese's career in 1980, and when he announced his retirement on June 25, 1981, his last base card was locked into the 1981 Topps set. That makes this not just a vintage collectible — it's a true career-closing card for one of the NFL's greatest quarterbacks.

As veteran set builder Roger Rumsey put it, "You've got the last cards of Bob Griese, Joe Greene and Alan Page" — and that strong combination of legends has helped make the 1981 Topps Football set one of the most desirable of its decade.
