Ditto 3/62 — Pokémon TCG Fossil Unlimited Holo Rare

The Fossil set's most mechanically unique holo is also its most personally expressive — and this is it. Ditto 3/62 is a Holo Rare from the Pokémon TCG Fossil expansion, the third English set released by Wizards of the Coast on October 10, 1999. This is the Unlimited edition, distinguished from the 1st Edition print by the absence of the black stamp — making it the most accessible entry point into one of the most iconic Colorless Pokémon cards ever printed.

The 62-card Fossil set spans 15 Holo Rares, 15 non-holo Rares, 20 Uncommons, and 12 Commons. Artwork on Ditto 3/62 is by Keiji Kinebuchi, and the card's Pokémon Power — Transform — is what separates it from every other holo in the set: when Ditto is your Active Pokémon, it mirrors the Defending Pokémon completely, adopting its type, HP, Weakness, Resistance, and attacks, while any Energy attached to Ditto can be used as any type. Nothing else in the original WotC era does that.
