Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt is the first half of the Pokémon TCG's first-ever English dual-set release, and the Elite Trainer Box is the most accessible — and only sealed — way to crack packs from this landmark expansion. This marks the first split release for the English version of the Pokémon TCG , making Black Bolt a genuine piece of collecting history.

Every Unova Pokémon gets an Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rare card, and Reshiram ex, Zekrom ex, and Victini also receive new "BWR" rarity cards featuring monochromatic coloring. Inside Black Bolt packs, hunt for Serperior ex, Zekrom ex, and Meloetta ex — the full Pokémon Black lineup rendered in the Scarlet & Violet era's richest art styles.

Pull rates per pack run roughly: a double rare Pokémon ex every 5 packs, a Poké Ball reverse holo every 3 packs, a Master Ball reverse holo every 15 packs, a full-art ultra rare every 16 packs, an Illustration Rare every 6 packs, and a Special Illustration Rare every 76 packs.
